Nestled in the heart of Bandar Puchong Jaya, Crab B Restaurant offers an exceptional seafood dining experience that masterfully combines tradition with fresh, vibrant flavors. Specializing in Chinese seafood cuisine, this charming eatery is renowned for its creative tofu dishes, succulent crab offerings, and hearty claypot meals that evoke the warmth and richness of home-cooked food with a sophisticated twist.
One of Crab B Restaurant’s standout specialties is their Scallops, Prawns & Clams Tofu (珊瑚海皇豆腐), where silky tofu is bathed in a savory seafood broth teeming with the sweet freshness of scallops, prawns, and clams—each bite bursting with umami that dances on the palate. For those seeking a more indulgent treat, the Homemade Tofu with Abalone is a delicate creation boasting velvety tofu paired with premium abalone, a luxurious dish that perfectly balances subtlety and decadence.
If you’re a fan of aromatic presentations, the Lotus Leaf Tofu (笼仔荷叶豆腐) is a must-try. Steamed to perfection and wrapped in fragrant lotus leaf, it offers a gentle herbal aroma that enhances the tender tofu’s creamy texture, turning every mouthful into a sensory delight. Crab lovers will undoubtedly appreciate the Crab Meat Tofu (金丝蟹扒豆腐), where sweet, luscious crab meat entwines with tofu for an unforgettable seafood indulgence.
Beyond the tofu selections, Crab B’s signature dishes truly shine. The milky crab salted egg crab—highlighted fondly in glowing customer reviews—delivers a rich, velvety salted egg sauce that beautifully complements the fresh sweetness of the crab meat. The creamy butter crab also surprises with its luxurious texture and layered flavors, evoking a comforting yet gourmet sensation that leaves diners craving their next visit.
For poultry enthusiasts, their chicken claypot is an absolute revelation. Richly glazed with Marmite sauce, this dish presents a perfect harmony of deep umami notes and tender, juicy meat, creating an earthy, soulful comfort food experience that customers rave about as one of the best in town.
Crab B also delivers memorable noodle dishes such as the “wok hei” infused claypot lou shu fun, which boasts a satisfying smoky aroma, making it a delightful alternative to traditional rice accompaniments. Don’t miss adventurous local flavors either—try the unique cincalok sotong petai, a pungent yet addictive combination that appeals to bold palates.

The crab XL size tasted as good as it looked! We also ordered the lemon pork (not in picture), if you like sotong, cincalok and petai, you should try their cincalok sotong petai dish.

Overall the dishes that we ordered from the simple egg omelette to the creamy butter crab were above expectations. A special call out for the chicken clay pot of which is one of the best that I had. Will come back next time to try out the other dishes.

Located in Puchong along with a number of other restaurants, this one stands out with the cute crab sign board. The food was certainly good. The crab was slightly pricey but worth the value. They have a nice little sample of the size of the crabs if you need to see how the sizes look like. Service was friendly. Better to make a reservation before going as I noticed that they are rather packed.

My last vist to here was at least 6 years ago and place has been renovated which now feels more comfortable for a family dinner. The buttermilk crab was delicious, and the paku vegetables were quite good too. However, the curry could use some improvement, and it was hard to find much meat on the whole ‘ang chou’ fish we ordered. Still, it’s a nice spot to consider for family meals or small gatherings.”
